Welcome to Bharathi, we are a sociocultural association of enthusiastic and vibrant group of Indian expatriates living in Al Khor community and associated with the two premium LNG companies of Qatar, Qatargas and Rasgas. Bharathi endeavors to create an atmosphere of home away from home for its members with numerous cultural, social and educational activities. Bharathi endeavors to acts as cultural bridge between Qatar and India. Bharathi conducts charity drive and donation campaigns to help underprivileged Indian workers in Qatar.
Bharathi has been serving the community since year 2000 and has out grown itself every year since inception, thanks to the support of the members and the wholehearted support provided by the Al Khor Community management.
Bharathi is an ocean of talents with finest choreographers, dancers and speakers. Every year Bharathi conducts a mega cultural evening "The Indian Night" in November to showcase the rich cultural legacy of India. The Indian Night is a platform to promote and provide exposure to the new generation to our origin and culture, striking a balance between the old and the new. We aim to keep our rich cultural heritage alive and adapt. The Indian Night boasts of a magnificent dance stage, with more than 150 performers and an audience of over 1000. Our list of invitees and honourable guests include Heads of Qatargas community and clubs, Embassy and ICC officials. A grand event like this needs big resources and we are grateful to all our sponsors who support us with their kind contributions.
